He propped up two cards, brows furrowed in concentration. The pyramid fell and he started again.
I watched him hopelessly. Where had our love gone?
I reached across and flicked his steady hand. The house of cards came tumbling, tumbling like the two of us falling out of the sky.

this so reminded me of Gambit and Rogue :blush: i've been in too-high anticipatory mode ever since the trailers for X-Men Origins started coming out with Gambit in them. :giggle:

but for 50 words this works amazingly well. Great job! :heart:
